Attakkalari’s upcoming National and International Tours

Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts Bengaluru will be on a performance tour throughout October in Europe and India with its two recent works -Aadhaarachakra – a Dancelogue and MeiDhwani – Echoes of the Body. Both works strive to find a connect within our memories and imagination while immersed in the chaos of contemporary India.

Aadhaarachakra – a Dancelogue is a multi-media production traversing intangible spaces and transporting the audience through a sensorial narrative across distant times and architecture as well as vivid contemporary urban landscapes and experiences.

Meidhwani – Echoes of the Body with its distilled vocabulary maps the residues left in the body from tumultuous contemporary experiences through structures that allude to body-care systems and ancient architectural principles.

The international leg of the tour has been made possible because of the staunch support of our valued partners, including the Ballet National de Marseilles, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Europalia-India festival.
