Centre for Movement Arts is the lead organization of its kind in India,
creating a context for contemporary cultural expressions through many
distinct but interlinked programmes such as Education & Outreach,
National & International Platforms for exchange and performance,
Strategic Movement & Digital Arts Development, Research &
Documentation and new performance works by the Attakkalari Repertory.
Respected internationally, Attakkalari is part of a network of organizations
globally engaged in research, training, production and promotion of
cutting edge work in performing and digital arts. Attakkalari is looking

Description |
1)
Academic Coordinator:
Attakkalari’s work in education includes the first 3-year
Diploma in the country in Movement Arts & Mixed Media as well
as an extensive education outreach project under which Attakkalari
dancers teach and conduct workshops in movement arts in schools,
colleges, corporations and for the general public. In addition the
Centre is also involved in several research projects, holds artists
residencies and exchange programmes.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Project Director
as well as the Manager for Education & Development and be responsible
for strategic development, delivery and sustainability of the programme.
2) Production Executive:
Attakkalari’s repertory company performs extensively
both within India and abroad. The successful candidate will coordinate
production of new works besides managing and marketing existing
productions and performances. He/she will work alongside with the
Artistic Director and Programme Manager in organizing rehearsals,
booking tours as well as the day-to-day running of the repertory
company.

| Eligibility |
Candidates
must possess good inter-personal and communication skills both oral
and written; be capable of independent thinking and display leadership
qualities. They must be conversant with and committed to the arts,
be able to represent the organization, network and market the work
we do. Proficiency with the computer is necessary.
These full-time positions will be based in Bangalore, India but may
include some traveling.
The compensation package will take into account the experience
of the selected candidate.
